Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BidLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Description of Service

BidLens is an AI-powered tool that analyzes and compares contractor quotes. You upload PDF documents, and our service extracts and compares pricing, specifications, and scope items to help you make informed decisions.

AI Disclaimer — Important

BidLens uses artificial intelligence to analyze documents and may make mistakes. The analysis provided is for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice. Always verify all information against your original documents before making any decisions. BidLens is not responsible for errors in AI analysis or decisions made based on our analysis.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you do not have the right to share
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models
  • Resell or redistribute our analysis without permission
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems

Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Refunds: Monthly and annual subscriptions can be canceled at any time. We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase if you have not used the service. Contact us at support@bidlens.io for refund requests.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Unused credits from credit packs do not expire and remain available even if you cancel a subscription.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing our service. We do not claim ownership of your documents or share them with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., AI processing).

Limitation of Liability

BidLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: errors in AI analysis, decisions made based on our analysis, lost profits, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data including uploaded documents, comparisons, and personal information will be permanently removed within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of BidLens after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
